Highland Wool Valero Sweater Vest - Taupe/Cream
Size Chart
Taking cues from a vintage sweater vest that was cut more like a tailored waistcoat, we're proud to present the Highland Wool Valero vest. While the 8 pointed Valero Star is found most prominently across 1800s Spanish weavings from New Mexico, you saw a lot of these motifs used on this vest throughout the Navajo, Hopi, and indigenous Mexican peoples as well. And much like what we think the Valero Star more broadly represents as Americana, we feel blending all these motifs into one piece also helps represent that. It should feel familiar.
Our use of Andean Highland Wool once again finds its home in this vest, using natural colors, and when set against our product backdrop, you can see why. This might be one of the most Wythe-y pieces we've made.
