We've been pals with Greg from Easymoc for a while now, and have always talked about making some shoes with him. We finally put pen to paper and got it done! And who better to explain the details than Greg himself:
"Genuine handsewn. Full moccasin construction on our trooper moc pattern.
Made entirely by hand—no pre-punched holes, no shortcuts. Just an awl, needle, and thread. This shoe features 360° leather underfoot with three layers of leather and a cushioned foam insert beneath the heel for comfort."
- Law Tanning (Milwaukee) American suede upper
- Sunderland Tanning (New York) Kidskin goat crust lining
- Natural vegetable-tanned sock liner with poron underfoot foam (foam is from Der-Tex in Biddeford, Maine. Veg-tan from Wickett and Craig tanning in PA)
- American Tanning rawhide laces
- Upper stitches, hand sewn threads, and sail stitch all hand wound and spooled from ‘Maine Thread’ in Lewiston, Maine
- Cement from Worthen In New Hampshire
- Vibram Camp Sole
